Catholic Apologetics

Preface

Did you know the Bible says to "call no man Father", yet Catholics call priests "father"? The Bible clearly states "the brothers of Jesus", yet the Catholic Church claims Mary was a perpetual virgin. Catholics worship statues contrary to Scripture and uphold human traditions contrary to Scripture. Catholics added seven books to the Bible. Everywhere you turn, the Catholic Church openly defies Scripture. The Catholic Church is either too arrogant or too ignorant to realize it is committing these obvious errors.

It's a wonder the Church is still around after 2,000 years. Surely someone noticed these things before. It is enough to infuriate trusting Catholics who have been misled all this time. To think we blindly accepted Church teaching when things as obvious as mentioned above were plain for all to see. What fools we have been.

It makes you want to leave the Church.

This website is for those who are contemplating leaving the Catholic Church, or have already done so, because of the Church's theology. Most of us in this position are not fully informed of the actual position of the Church on many theological matters. We make assumptions or readily accept falsehoods told us by others who might not realize they too are unaware of true Church teaching. Hopefully, this site will educate you about some of what you were never taught in CCD or what you were told by a Protestant evangelist, and allow you to make a truly educated decision about deserting your faith.

This website is the result of an earnest search for divine truth, a search that is ongoing. As you read this, I am discovering more truths. If you are unsure of the defense of the Catholic faith, I encourage you to begin your own search--and you can start with this website. You can challenge what is written herein and decide for yourself. Indeed, if you challenge something, or remain unconvinced, please tell me! It will help both our searches.

I pray the Holy Spirit guides us in our searches and leads us to the truth. May God bless you on your journey. I know He blessed me!

Psa 86:11-12 - Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart to revere your name. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.
